Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases of Stackalot subscriptions and add-ons. The Service is operated by CRC (Pty) Ltd, South Africa, and orders are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com.

30-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with Stackalot, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase, no questions asked. We want you to feel safe trying the product.

A note about AI outputs

Stackalot uses AI, which can occasionally produce inaccurate or "hallucinated" output. All AI outputs are suggestions and require human review before you use them on Takealot. Dissatisfaction with the quality of an AI output is a valid reason to request a refund within the 30-day window — just email us.

How to request a refund

You have two easy options:

  1. Visit paddle.net (our payments provider) and request a refund using the email address you used at checkout.
  2. Email us at support@stackalot.co.za with your order email and the reason for the refund. We will coordinate the refund with Paddle on your behalf.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are returned to the original payment method by Paddle. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the refund typically appears within 5–10 business days. Refunds are issued in the currency you were originally charged.

Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or via the Paddle customer portal. Cancelling stops future billing — you will keep access until the end of the current billing period. Cancellation outside the 30-day window does not by itself trigger a refund of the most recent payment.

Exceptions

We may decline refund requests where there is clear evidence of abuse, fraud, or violation of our Terms & Conditions (for example, using the Service to generate large volumes of content and then requesting a refund). Statutory consumer rights are not affected.
